With time to spare we decided to spend two nights camping at Pine Grande. This meant we could enjoy not having to pack up camp or carry our heavy bags around.
Our hike today led us to Francis valley where we could see another part of the “w” trek. We originally planned to get to the Britanico lookout but managed to get ourselves lost. Instead we found a nice secluded spot to have lunch and watch the avalanches from the nearby mountains.
Once again we were amazing with how nice the weather was as we had another hot day with plenty of sunscreen being required.
Another great thing about trekking in this park is there are regular sources of ice cold glacier water so you don’t have to lug around heavy bottles.
Walking back to camp we couldn’t believe how quickly the time had went. Sadly tomorrow was to be our last day in the park.
